Samsung shocked us yesterday with its fastest-ever release of a Single UI to follow up on a big new Android upgrade, when it announced that One UI 4 based on Android 12 had started to go global. The update has already been spotted in the US and Europe, but what about India? It turns out things are a little different there, and the rollout is only expected to begin in December.
Samsung has revealed the next update schedule, as shown in the image below, through the Members App in India. As such, these launch time frames are only valid for India, keep that in mind.
Since Samsung is a huge company that makes many phones and sells them practically all over the world, not all places and not all phones in all places will get the update at the same time.
From the looks of it, India will have to wait a bit more than other countries for the update itself to appear, but it will be putting in a big show next month, with the Galaxy S21, Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 family all receiving delivery.
Then in January, it was time for the Galaxy Fold, Z Fold2, Z Flip, and Galaxy S20, Note20, S10, and Note10 sets to receive the new software. Medium rangers and tablets will get their first taste in February, as you can see.
Obviously all of this is still subject to change, but it should give you a good idea of when to expect the new software to arrive on your device.
