Digital transformation pioneer of Pakistan, Zong 4Glaunched the most advanced and unrivaled 4G services in Balochistan Kohlu. The initiative parallels Zong’s tireless quest to connect and empower those who are marginalized in remote areas of the country.
The Kohlu region of Balochistan is home to more than 200,000 people with little or no access to the internet connection. Zong, Pakistan’s most reliable and fastest growing 4G service, launched 4G services in Kohlu to provide access to extremely fast 4G internet to the region’s disconnected population.
“We are committed in our passion to empower Pakistan and connect underserved areas with our unmatched 4G service,” Zong’s official spokesperson said. “Strengthening Kohlu with our 4G network is part of our mission to provide the Pakistani masses with equal access to reliable connectivity. This opens up the endless opportunities of digitalization.”
Last year, Zong won Zong’s contract for network expansion on the outskirts of Karachi, including Malir, which complemented Zong’s own efforts to penetrate the countryside and build a Digital Pakistan. Supporting the most advanced and modernized network in the industry, expanding more than 14,000 4G operational areas, Zong 4G is at the forefront of Pakistan’s data revolution and continues to power the country with key projects such as CPEC with industry-leading connectivity solutions.
This aggressive expansion, especially in very remote areas, is in line with the ambition of Zong 4G’s parent company; China Mobile Communications Corporation is the world’s largest telecommunications and 5G operator. China Mobile’s continued commitment and excellent blend of experience with global technological leadership has contributed to making Zong the No. 1 Data Network in Pakistan.
Zong 4G quickly emerged as Pakistan’s preferred connectivity provider and the fastest growing 4G network. The company is seriously seeking to reduce the digital divide in Pakistan and spread the benefits of digitalization to the masses.
